i do agree with him. when i was 12 i could definately tell the difference between a movie and real life. if i wasn't sure what i was seeing on film was real or not, like if they mixed real footage with footage shot on set, i would simply ask. children aren't idiots and ignorant adults should realize that it's way more unhealthy to condescend to kids than let them watch a violent movie.

jeez i dont agree with him at all... kids with good, smart parents MAYBE will get it... most kids however don't have the good fortune of having intelligent parents, thus may be negatively influenced by the violence (albeit stylised, artistic violence) in the movie.

he's just a LITTLE too confident and wrapped up in the art world... poor guy has lost his powers of perspective
