A video giving a tour of the LHC (underground accelerator) at CERN. Measuring 27km in circumference, it will become the world's largest particle accelerator. The first beams are due for injection mid-June 2008 with the first collisions planned to take place 2 months later. The LHC will become the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator.

LHC is the combined effort of 33 countries.

Furthermore, CERN (the organization that heads up all these experiments) is European.

The USA has only a fractional participation in this project.

It is the collective will of the entire planet that gives them the right to determine the fate of the entire planet.

PS: Since the LHC poses absolutely no danger at all, nothing the LHC is doing will affect the fate of the planet at all

Go educate yourself on this field of science, or sit down.

@calapanpo - "what if it makes little humans?" lol thats the funniest question, but interesting aswell.
What can we really expect to come out of it? Will we play gods? Maybe its been done before and someone has our whole universe in a "jar" without good microscope to see that one blue tiny planet is populated, or some other in another galaxy, maybe even the planets are too tiny to be visible......
