I see what you're saying. I just think that this wasn't a very good role to play for looking pretty for her. The only time in this movie I thought she was really pretty was in the hospital with Angel. That's about it honestly. Lol

Idina Menzel, who plays Maureen, is actually kinda pretty. I agree that this part of the movie does not show off her most attractive. I think she looks pretty good in Seasons of Love and Goodbye Love. She's not too bad in Take Me or Leave Me either. This song and The Tango Maureen are kind of "ehhhh..."

Maureen did not need to pull her pants down at all....I mean come on. Lol, it's bad enough that she's not all that pretty, but seeing her white ass kinda topped it off. Lol, at least that's my opinion. :)

The I saw Angel part works a lot better in the actual on-stage musical.

i agree. and the part when she was like "oh my god guys i swear i saw angel... and he looked good..." was so incredibly corny and unnecessary
